Moshi Lounge Q Wireless Charging Stand
Previously, I have the Sum Dial Wireless Charger which is also a premium wireless charger, but it is not a wireless charging stand.
So the Moshi Lounge Q Wireless Charging Stand is the most premium wireless charging stand that I have so far.
It retails for S$125 on Lazada.
I was expecting the wireless charging stand to be much smaller and lighter. But it is a good thing that I was wrong as its size and weight add to the premium factor.
USB-C powers it, and the 1m cable is non-removable.
The design is inspired by Scandinavian furniture design. The base is made of aluminum, while the textured portion of the charger is made of microfiber.
It supports up to 15W wireless charging.
Powering the charger is Moshi’s own proprietary Qi-certified Q-coil. According to Moshi, the Q-coil allows wireless charging for cases up to 5 mm in thickness. I don’t find this special as most wireless chargers also allow cases up to 5 mm in thickness.
There is only one charging coil inside, and hence for it to support multiple phone sizes, you can move the charging coil along the stainless steel rails.
It also supports both portrait and landscape wireless charging of your phone.
The wireless charging indicator is located at the side of the charging coil.
Overall, this is a very nicely designed wireless charging stand with a solid and heavy build. It will look nice on wooden tables.
The only downside I can think of is that when specks of dust accumulate at the bottom of the charger, it will be challenging to clean it off due to the microfiber. I think vacuuming might be a better option.
