Verbatim 4-Port 100W PD Travel Charger
Verbatim 4-Port 100W PD Travel Charger is a travel charger that comes with four interchangeable plugs and has three USB-C Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 ports and one USB-A Quick Charge (QC) 3.0 port.
It retails for S$114 on Shopee and Lazada before any discounts.
There is a carrying pouch that allows you to hold all the plugs and the charger.
The Verbatim 4-Port 100W PD Travel Charger is a lightweight travel adapter weighing 227 g and measuring 78 x 61 x 30 (mm).
Four interchangeable plugs are included since it is a travel charger.
It comes with the Singapore Safety Mark. That indicates the product has been tested and certified to comply with the relevant safety standards.
I find it odd that Verbatim placed the USB-A on top and numbered their USB-C port in reverse order. Most chargers that I featured always have their USB-A port at the bottom.
Regarding power output, the USB-A QC 3.0 port has a maximum output of 30W, while the next USB-C port (PD3) has a maximum output of 65W. The remaining USB-C ports (PD2 and PD1) each have a maximum output of 100W.
The U.K. plug comes pre-attached to the charger. A tiny catch to secure the plug to the charger is only found on the U.K. plug (the other three plugs do not have this tiny catch). You must push it up to remove the U.K. plug from the charger. This is a local safety feature required in Hong Kong.
Most travel chargers have the U.S./Japan Plug (Type A) built into them with support for interchangeable plugs. However, for this travel charger, I realized the 2-prong plug on the charger is not foldable and is just meant to attach the interchangeable plugs.
I prefer the integrated Type A plug because I would not need to bring any interchangeable plugs if I travel between Singapore and Japan. But sadly, this is also a local safety feature required in Hong Kong. Therefore, a separate U.S. plug is included.
Verbatim 4-Port 100W PD Travel Charger is my first travel charger that supports 100W output and comes with three USB-C ports and one USB-A port. As more and more devices switch to USB-C, it makes sense to have most ports in USB-C. However, since we cannot remove USB-A from the equation, it would be good to have at most one USB-A port as a fallback.
So, the Verbatim 4-Port 100W PD Travel Charger is optimum.
