Benks ArmorAir Case For iPhone 16 Pro Max
Benks has three types of Armor cases that are made with Kevlar 600D. ArmorLite, ArmorAir, and ArmorPro.
Benks ArmorAir is the second iPhone 16 Pro Max case Benks sent me. It retails for S$50.79 on Lazada and S$46.86 on Shopee.
Benks ArmorPro case also retails for S$50.79 on Lazada and S$46.87 on Shopee.
Benks ArmorLite is not yet available on both Lazada and Shopee.
The ArmorPro and ArmorLite have an additional TPU frame that covers the side frame of the iPhone and has metal buttons.
The ArmorAir has the buttons exposed. Because of that, the ArmorPro and ArmorLite provide complete protection for the phone, while ArmorPro only provides partial protection.
Depending on your needs, if you seldom drop your iPhone and prefer an ultra-slim, minimalist design case, the ArmorAir will be a good choice. If you are clumsy and always drop your phone, I recommend the ArmorPro or the ArmorLite.
There are magnets inside the ArmorAir case itself as shown above, so it will work great with MagSafe accessories.
Both the power and camera control buttons are not protected. The action button and volume buttons are also not protected.
The bottom is well protected with cutouts for the speaker grills and USB-C port.
If you notice, the lip of the case doesn’t overlap with the edges of the screen. So, if you drop your phone, I am certain your screen protector will take the hit and crack, while the titanium frame of your iPhone might be able to avoid scratches.
The ArmorAir case is incredibly tough, as expected for Kevlar material. You can feel it when you use your strength to squeeze the case, and it doesn’t even wobble or make any squeaky sound. It weighs only 27.5g.
The only disadvantage, as mentioned earlier, is that if you drop your phone, your screen protector will crack, and if you are unlucky, it may scratch the buttons of your iPhone as those areas are not protected. Other than this, it is a well-made case for people who willingly sacrifice protection for minimalism.
Generally, I have always been careful with my phone; hence, this case suits me well. I have been using this case as my daily driver since.
