Belkin charging and protection gear, from BoostCharge power banks and GaN chargers to surge protectors.
The Belkin 3.5mm Audio Cable with Lightning Connector lets you connect an iPhone to any 3.5mm audio system without Bluetooth. MFi-certified, its DAC outputs high-resolution audio up to 48kHz/24-bit. It comes in black and white, in two lengths.
The Belkin SurgeCube 1 Outlet Surge Protector with two shared 2.4A USB ports retails for S$59, discounted to S$39 at IT Show 2018. I'd wanted a UK plug adapter with USB charging and built-in surge protection.
The Belkin Valet Charge Dock for Apple Watch & iPhone is exclusive to Apple Stores and authorised resellers, retailing for S$194. It comes in Silver, Rose Gold, and Black, though it's pricey for a dock.
I didn't realise Belkin made a 4-port car charger besides my Aukey one. The Belkin Road Rockstar, available at all 34 Challenger outlets and Lazada for S$79, is a 36W/7.2A charger with two USB ports on the unit itself.
The WeMo Switch + Motion sells at Funan's Challenger for S$109, or S$89 for members, while the plain WeMo Switch is S$79, or S$71.10. For just S$18 more as a member, the motion sensor was worth it.
The Belkin Tablet Charger is the other gift I received from Belkin Singapore for Christmas, alongside the Belkin Lightning to USB ChargeSync Cable. I suspect it's since been renamed the Belkin Universal Home Charger, as I couldn't find it listed.
I received the Belkin Lightning to USB ChargeSync Cable (1.2m/4 ft) from Belkin Singapore as a Christmas present. True to its name, it's 1.2 metres long and comes in several colours, Black, Blue, Green, Pink, Purple, Red, and White.
I've likely completed my Belkin 6-inch Lightning to USB ChargeSync Cable collection. I own all four colours from the colour range, both from the black-and-white range, and now all three metallics, Gold, Silver, and Grey, matching iPhone 6 colours.
In my earlier post on the Belkin 6-inch Lightning to USB ChargeSync Cable, I said it was sold only through the Apple Online Store. I was mistaken, you can find a similar cable in stores, though fewer colours than online.
After buying some cheap Chinese imitation Lightning cables from DealExtreme with horrible quality, I swore off cheap cables for good. The Belkin 6-inch Lightning to USB ChargeSync Cable is the shortest quality cable I could find.
The Belkin Audio Splitter is exclusive to Apple Stores, where she picked one up for me at HK$148, about S$24. It's a simple, no-frills 3.5mm audio jack splitter, and frankly overpriced. If your earphones have a microphone, it won't work.
I bought the Belkin EaseFit Plus Armband for iPhone 5 from Funan's Challenger for S$35, or S$31.50 with member's price, ahead of my 10km Straits Times Run in the Park 2013 on 25th August. A simpler Ease-Fit Armband costs S$29.
With my cable Internet contract expiring, I'm switching to Fibre before 24th August 2011. With no Fibre Termination Point in my room, the gateway must move to the living room. To ease the move, I got the Belkin Surge Protector.
Last Wednesday, the Apple Store Singapore ran a one-day shopping event with online discounts, though they were pretty paltry, just S$20 off an iPod nano. Still, S$20 off beats nothing, so I grabbed a Belkin charger.
