The iPod Shuffle and Apple’s iPod lineup refreshes.
Apple has refreshed its iPod line. The Shuffle gains pink, green and blue, plus a polished stainless-steel edition exclusive to the online store, and now announces a full battery by voice. Third-party headphones with the Shuffle remote finally work too.
Apple has refreshed the iPod Shuffle, now 4GB only at S$128. Instead of many colours there are just two, silver and black, and the design is now vertical rather than square. Despite lacking a screen, it adds a VoiceOver feature.
Apple has just refreshed its entire iPod lineup at the Let's Rock event, the last refresh having been on 6th September 2008. The second-generation iPod Touch features a stainless-steel design, side volume controls and a built-in speaker.
Apple has announced a new iPod branch, the iPod Touch, refreshed the Shuffle and Nano, and renamed the fifth-generation iPod the iPod Classic. Imagine an iPhone without calling, just 8mm thick, and you have the iPod Touch.
