My Gunmetal Black Steel Band for the Pebble Time Steel finally arrived on 11th November 2015, three months after the watch itself. It's heavy and well-built, though a little large, so I'll need precision screwdrivers to remove a few links.
The Pebble Time Steel is the second Pebble Kickstarter I've backed, after the original Pebble Watch two years earlier. The Pebble Time campaign broke Kickstarter's record as the most-funded project, raising US$20,338,986 from 78,471 backers.
Two months after the Pebble Smartwatch reached Singapore, sole distributor Leader Radio Technologies has officially launched the Pebble Steel here from 1st August 2014. It retails for S$359, and to celebrate, the first 500 units sold come with a bonus.
More than a year after I got my Pebble, the Pebble Smartwatch is now officially available in Singapore, brought in by Leader Radio Technologies as the sole distributor. It's been on sale since 26th May 2014 for S$249.
The Pebble Watch was the 9th Kickstarter project I backed, and it broke the record as the most highly funded ever. Against a US$100,000 goal, it raised US$10,266,845 from 68,929 backers when it funded in May 2012.
