Dell's UltraSharp InfinityEdge monitors, known for their ultra-thin borders on all sides, are finally available in Singapore. Two models launched: a 27-inch Quad HD and a 23.8-inch Full HD. The 24-inch U2417H retails for S$429.
The Dell UltraSharp U3415W 34-inch Curved Monitor has been available in Singapore since mid-December 2014 for S$1,499. I find that fairly reasonable, since Dell's high-end monitors typically sit around that range, and the U3415W is the cheapest of them.
The Dell UltraSharp 27 Ultra HD 5K Monitor (UP2715K) arrives in Singapore in December 2014 for S$2,699, well under the iMac with Retina 5K display, which starts at S$3,388. It's a 27-inch 16:9 IPS panel with a 5120x2880 resolution.
Thanks to Dell Singapore, I got to spend two weeks with the Dell UltraSharp U3011 30-inch Monitor, which retails for S$1,509. Like upgrading a computer, once you move to a bigger screen you never look back.
Dell really does have great customer service. If you'd like anything from Dell, let me know and I'll introduce my sales rep. My monitor arrived earlier than expected, beating the Dell order status estimate.
I've placed and confirmed my order for a Dell 2408WFP UltraSharp 24-inch monitor for myself at S$958.72 and a Dell E228WFP 22-inch monitor for my brother at S$408.74. Buying both together helped, and I can't wait for them to arrive.
