Kero – Micro USB Nomad Cable
Backed the Kero’s Micro USB Nomad Cable on the 18th September 2013 and it got successfully funded on the 18th October 2013 after raising US$24,313 out of their initial goal of US$14,000.
The project was on schedule which is rare for Kickstarter projects. It was due to ship on November 2013 and it got shipped from the US on the 29th November 2013 and I got it 4 days later on the 2nd December 2013!
There was also the Kero’s Lightning Nomad Cable which by the time I realised that it was on Kickstarter, it was too late and it already got funded. Luckily for me, I managed to get the Lightning Nomad Cable off the shelves in Thailand.
My pledge level was the “Combo Early Bird Special (US$24)” which consists of 1x Micro USB Nomad Cable and 1x Lightning Nomad Cable in either white or Kero blue.
I ordered 2 sets of it and shipping is an additional US$15 via FedEx International Priority! I love it when Kickstarter projects are shipped by DHL or Fedex. I would totally pay a little bit more for better shipping services and the ability to track packages properly.
So in total, I paid US$48 + US$15 = US$63 (S$80).
If you are interesting in getting the cables, you can get it from their site, KERO Products. The Lightning Nomad Cable is going for US$24.99 and the Micro USB Nomad Cable is going for US$14.99. For some reason, they only ship within the US if you buy it from their website. I say drop them an email to see if they ship internationally.
