The Magnat Carrier Bag contains the Magnat Board as well as pockets for other gadgets and a 13″ laptop.

It measure 38.1 x 25.4 x 6.35 (cm) and weighs about 800g. It comes in seven colors (black+black, black+yellow, blue+red, blue+lightblue, brown+orange, champagne+green and grey+pink) and is retailing for US$79.90 (S$104).

It includes two Magnat stickers for you to paste on things that doesn’t have magnetic properties.

The Magnat Carrier Bag is able to fit in most 13″ laptops. But do ensure that your laptop is using SSD and not the regular HDD because the magnetic properties of the board inside the bag will spoil your laptop’s regular HDD as stated in the FAQ.

Q: What type of gadgets can be used with Magnat carrier?
A: Any item can be used safely in our carrier! In the category of electronic gadgets, any device (smartphone tablet, e-reader, etc) with a solid state drive or flash memory will stay safe.

Q: Will the Magnat carrier damage my gadgets?
A: NO. Any smartphone, tablet, e-reader or other approved device with a solid state drive or flash memory will not be damaged by our magnet technology! Older iPods and other devices with conventional hard drives should NOT be used with the Magnat system as the magnet could damage these devices!

I kinda like the novelty of this bag but I just don’t feel comfortable putting my MacBook Pro 13″ Retina into a bag that contains a magnet board despite it being safe.

After using the bag for a long period of time, you might forgot the existence of the magnet board and put in a portable hard drive in the bag. When that happens, there goes your portable hard drive.
