Mophie Powerstation Plus 2016 (6,000mAh)
The 2016 version of Mophie Powerstation Plus comes in three sizes, Powerstation Plus XL (12,000mAh), Powerstation Plus (6,000mAh) and Powerstation Plus Mini (4,000mAh).
All three sizes are available in three colors, gold, rose gold and space grey.
In Singapore, only the Powerstation Plus XL and Powerstation Plus are available.
The Powerstation Plus XL retails for S$139 while the Powerstation Plus retails for S$109.
Since I got the previous generation of Mophie Powerstation Plus (12,000mAh), for this generation, I decided to get a smaller capacity one which is the Mophie Powerstation Plus (6,000mAh).
One feature that is missing from the current generation is the integrated microUSB cable used to charge the Powerstation itself. The microUSB cable is now separate but it still comes in the package.
I still prefer the previous generation Powerstation Plus despite it being heavier and bulkier.
That is because it felt more solid and premium. Also the integrated microUSB cable is really a convenient way to charge the Powerstation.
