Xiaomi Mi 10,000mAh Power Bank Pro
Xiaomi’s 10000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro is retailing for S$52 in the Mi Singapore Store located in Suntec City.
According to Hardware Zone there are two models, PLM01ZM and PLM03ZM.
PLM01ZM is the older model as it was released back in March 2016 while PLM03ZM was released in October 2016. The primary difference between them is the newer PLM03ZM supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0 (QC3) instead of QC2 found in, the older PLM01ZM.
I bought mine from Xiaomi official online store on TMall for CN¥129 (S$27) (excluding shipping) during their 12/12 sale. The usual price is CN¥149 (S$31). They even throw in a free pouch and a Xiaomi Mi Micro USB to USB C Adapter.
When you get it directly from China, it is the PLM03ZM model.
Be careful when buying it in Singapore as you have a higher chance of getting the PLM01ZM as most resellers (even Mi Singapore Store) still have the older stocks.
The 10000mAh Mi Power Bank Pro is made of aluminum, measures 128 x 75 x 13mm and weighs 223g.
There are two colors available, gold and black.
The USB-C on the power bank is NOT bi-directional. It can only be used to charge the power bank.
Pass-through mode is supported, but when it is activated, QC3 will be disabled.
