Lululook Magnetic iPad Stand
Lululook Magnetic iPad Stand is an iPad stand that makes use of the iPad’s internal magnets for mounting. Hence, it is not compatible with every iPad.
It is compatible with all iPad Pro 11″. For iPad Pro 12.9″, it is only compatible from the 3rd generation (2018) onwards. Both variants of the stand retail for US$54.99 (S$73).
For iPad Air, it is only compatible with the 4th generation iPad Air (2020). This variant retails for US$52.99 (S$71.50).
Shipping to Singapore is free via economy shipping and will take about 10 days to reach you.
I have with me the Lululook Magnetic iPad Stand for iPad Pro 12.9″.
I did not take any photos of the box because it is a regular brown carton box.
It comes with a hex wrench, aka Allen key, so that you can tighten or loosen the rotation angle. As the note mentioned, most people will not need it, and I belong to most people.
Just make sure you store it in a place where you can remember since it is so small and prone to be misplaced.
The stand is made from aluminum alloy, and it weighs 1.03 kg. Overall, I love the build of the stand, as it feels solid.
The edges of the stand are sand properly as well as are not sharp when you touch it.
Not a fan of the glue used for this notice as after tearing it out, there is some glue residue left behind.
If you need to adjust the screws with the Allen key mentioned earlier, this is the place. It is located at the back of the stand.
I tested the stand with my iPad Pro 12.9″ without the cover, and it mounts and secured itself perfectly.
It works when your iPad Pro 12.9″ has a Smart Folio on it as well.
But when you open it, the cover might be placed in an awkward position, opening down to the table.
You can fold the cover backward to solve that problem, and you still mount the iPad Pro.
Overall, I am impressed with the build of the stand and how strong the magnet is to mount the iPad Pro securely.
This stand will be useful for people who use their iPad Pro in the kitchen. You can leave the stand in the kitchen, and when you need it, you can bring your iPad Pro and mount it to the stand.
