The Apple iPhone Leather Wallet with MagSafe retails for S$89 and is available in Golden Brown, Dark Cherry, Sequoia Green, Midnight, and Wisteria.
During 12/12 sale, the price drops to S$69 on Apple Authorised Reseller Store in Lazada.
Since last year, I have intended to get it, but I had no use case for it until recently.
That is because I applied for the UOB Absolute Cashback Card and it doesn’t support Apple Pay.
You will get 1.7% cashback from UOB Absolute Cashback Card even for topping up your GrabPay Card.
Then, use your GrabPay Card to pay for stuff. You will get GrabPay rewards points (equivalent to about 1.2% cashback), and bonus points if you are doing Grab Challenges. You can read more about this method here.
Because of my procrastination, only one color is available on Lazada during 12/12, which is Midnight.
The Apple iPhone Leather Wallet is well made, and all the stitches are nicely done. It feels premium as it should be since you are paying S$89 for it. It can fit three credit cards without embossing perfectly. If all your three credit cards have embossing (which most do), then it will be slightly tight.
Since my GrabPay Card also doesn’t have Apple Pay, I put both the UOB Absolute Cashback Card and GrabPay Card inside the Apple iPhone Leather Wallet.
The magnet of the Apple iPhone Leather Wallet is stronger than expected. Not sure whether it is due to my Moshi Arx Clear Slim Hardshell Case as well. I have not accidentally dislodged the wallet from the case when putting the phone into my pocket yet.
