Moshi Arx Clear Slim Hardshell Case for iPhone 13 Pro Max is an alternative to the Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max Clear Case with MagSafe that retails for S$62. This makes it slightly cheaper than Apple’s Clear Case of S$75.
Moshi Arx Clear Case protects the bottom of your phone, unlike the Apple Clear Case.
The sides are made from soft TPU, which makes it easy to move. The back is made from hard plastic.
Moshi went the extra mile to certify the drop protection. The Moshi Arx Clear Slim Hardshell Case is MIL-STD-810G and SGS-certified.
What is MIL-STD-810G (From Wikipedia)?
MIL-STD-810, Environmental Engineering Considerations and Laboratory Tests, is a United States Military Standard that emphasizes tailoring an equipment’s environmental design and test limits to the conditions that it will experience throughout its service life and establishing chamber test methods that replicate the effects of environments on the equipment rather than imitating the environments themselves. Although prepared specifically for military applications, the standard is often used for commercial products as well.
What is SGS (From Wikipedia)?
SGS is a Swiss multinational company headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, which provides inspection, verification, testing, and certification services. It has more than 93,000 employees and operates over 2,600 offices and laboratories worldwide.
It also supports MagSafe charging and I find the magnets of the MagSafe are stronger than Apple’s Clear Case. Since the case is just a MagSafe passthrough, you will still get the MagSafe animation when charging it. So it is the same as Apple’s Clear Case.
Overall, I love this case. I have changed my Apple’s Clear Case to this since it provides protection to the bottom of the phone and still works with MagSafe.
