Ugreen USB-C to 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub
After my company changed my MacBook Pro to the new 16″ M1 Pro MacBook Pro, I can no longer use my Razer Core X Chroma since Apple M1 chips don’t support eGPU. Besides using my Razer Core X Chroma as my eGPU, I also use it as a 4-port USB-A Hub.
So I needed a 4-port USB-C to USB-A Hub. My usual first place to search is Ugreen shop on Lazada. I use their cables, chargers, and USB-C hubs, and their peripherals haven’t disappointed me yet.
And as expected, they have the USB-C to 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub that is retailing for S$14.69.
Ugreen also have another hub, a USB-A to 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub, so you must double-check before adding it to the cart. To be sure, use the direct product link.
The whole casing is made of plastic, measuring only 34 g.
In terms of speed, it supports up to 5 Gbps, which is the specs of USB 3.0 / USB 3.1 Gen 1 / USB 3.2 Gen 1×1. Look at how confusing the USB specifications are.
You must have noticed a micro-USB port on the right side. This is for you to supply additional power to the hub if you plug in peripherals that need more power.
The Ugreen USB-C to 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub is a value for money and no-frills USB-C to 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub. I would recommend it if you are looking for a USB-C to 4-Port USB 3.0 Hub.
