After a long-awaited time, Apple finally launched its own version of a lost item tracker, called AirTag.

I got mine on the 4th May 2021, four days after the official launch because I chose to have it engraved.

After getting my bonus, I went ahead and bought the Apple HomePod Mini from Shopee.

As HomePod Mini is not officially released in Singapore, you will not be able to get it directly from Apple. Hence, I bought from a shop called monmartechnology on Shopee.

My birthday present came early. My brother got me a very generous birthday present, the Apple AirPods Max. It retails for S$849 and is available in five colors, Space Grey, Silver, Green, Blue, and Pink.

My brother got me the Blue flagship color. He ordered on 19th February 2021, and the delivery estimate was 6 to 7 weeks, which makes it around 7th to 13th April 2021. He didn’t expect the shipment to be just one week as I received it on 26th February 2021. Maybe someone canceled their order, and they have stock.

Apple 20W USB-C Power Adapter retails for S$29 or S$25.68 if your company is on Apple’s Employee Purchase Plan (EPP).

Like most Apple products being sold, it doesn’t come with anything extra. So no USB-C to Lighting cable or USB-C to USB-C Cable is included in the packaging.

Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max Clear Case with MagSafe retails for S$75 which makes it S$16 more expensive than last year Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max Clear Case that retails for S$59.

If you are on Apple’s Employee Purchase Plan (EPP), you can get the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max Clear Case with MagSafe for S$67.41. That is equivalent to roughly a 10% discount.

MagSafe Charger retails for S$59 or S$53.50 if your company is on Apple’s Employee Purchase Plan (EPP).

MagSafe is a not new invention, Apple has been using MagSafe Power Adapters since 2006 for their MacBooks.

The third Apple Store in Singapore, Apple Marina Bay Sands, will be opening at Marina Bay Sands on Thursday, 10th September 2020 at 10 am.

This comes one year after the second Apple Store opened in Singapore, Apple Jewel Changi Airport and three years after the first Apple Store opened in Singapore, Apple Orchard Road.

iShopChangi
I got to know iShopChangi People’s Choice Deals through their Facebook post. They have advertised the AirPods Pro to be S$295. The recommended retail price (RRP) of AirPods Pro is S$379 on Apple.com/sg.

I camped on 30th June, and when midnight arrives, nothing. I replied to their Facebook post and went to bed. They responded the next day, mentioning the sale is at noon sharp. Again, noon arrives, nothing.

The Razer Core X Chroma comes with a 0.5m Thunderbolt 3 cable. There is nothing wrong with the length, but the build quality of the cable is questionable.

I tested it with three MacBook Pros and all three experience frequent disconnections from the eGPU. It can be as frequent as once every 30 minutes. It is extremely irritating. Upon Googling, it seems to be a common problem.
