I bought the Apple TV (2nd Generation) from San Francisco's Apple Store for US$99, or US$107.67 after tax. I wish it were sold in Singapore, but without an iTunes movie and TV rental here, I doubt it will be soon.

After Google's Building 44, I drove about 15 minutes to Apple's Company Store at 1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino. The famous 'I visited the mothership' T-shirt is no longer printed; the new design reads 'I visited the Apple campus'.

The Apple iPhone Micro USB Adapter is sold only in UK Apple Stores, online and retail, for £8. I bought mine at the Regent Street store while in London for Nokia World 2011. It makes a gift for Apple fans.
Apple World Travel Adapter Kit
I bought the Apple World Travel Adapter Kit before my London flight, at iStudio in Changi Airport Terminal 3, for S$54.21. With a valid boarding pass I skipped the 7% GST, against S$58. The kit works with iPods and iPhones.

The Apple iPhone 4S is now available to pre-order on the Apple Singapore Online Store, with all units sold here unlocked. Both black and white are offered, at S$948 for 16GB, S$1,088 for 32GB, and S$1,238 for 64GB.

RIP Steve Jobs (1955-2011)
Steve Jobs passed away yesterday at the age of 56. As Apple put it, the company has lost a visionary and genius, and the world an amazing human being. Those who knew him have lost a dear friend.

Mac OS X Lion is finally out, costing US$29.99 in the Mac App Store, I was downloading it at 11MB/s last night. For slower connections, it's also available on a USB thumb drive via the Apple Store Singapore for S$88.
Apple 85W MagSafe Power Adapter
The Apple 85W MagSafe Power Adapter is for the 15-inch and 17-inch MacBook Pro. I got mine in Hong Kong for HK$588, about S$93, against S$128 in Singapore. My work adapter is wired in awkwardly, so I bought a spare.
Apple Refreshes iMac
Apple has refreshed its iMac, bumping the processor up to Sandy Bridge while keeping the same unibody design. The last refresh, in October 2010, moved to Core i3, i5, and i7. New are quad-core Sandy Bridge i5 and i7 chips.
Got My Apple 32GB iPad 2 WiFi + 3G!
Got my 32GB iPad 2 WiFi + 3G thanks to a friend who queued at VivoCity's Infinite store from 6am. Stocks were extremely limited, white especially; one person could buy only two units, just like the first launch.
iPhone 4 White in Singapore Tomorrow
After nearly a year of delay, the white iPhone 4 arrives tomorrow via Apple's Online Store. Pricing stays unchanged at S$888 for 16GB and S$1,048 for 32GB, finally giving Singapore buyers the lighter colour option.

Apple's iPad 2 lands in Singapore on Friday, 29th April 2011, priced slightly below the original. WiFi models start at S$668, rising to S$928 for 64GB, with 3G versions topping out at S$1,108 for the 64GB.

Apple has refreshed the MacBook Pro, bumping processor speeds while keeping the unibody design. The entry 13-inch gets a 2nd-gen Core i5, higher models a Core i7, all with Intel HD Graphics 3000 plus dedicated AMD Radeon graphics.

Bought the Magic Trackpad at iStudio in Changi Airport Terminal 3 before flying to Jakarta. Apple Singapore ran a Chinese New Year sale that day, but with no 7% airport tax the price was about the same, S$91.59.
Verizon’s iPhone 4 Summary
Verizon Wireless announced last night that it too will sell the iPhone 4 in the US. Unlike the AT&T and most worldwide units, this is a CDMA version rather than GSM, with three slight differences in its metal band.
Apple One-Day Chinese New Year Sale
Apple is holding a one-day Chinese New Year sale this Friday, 14th January. They run it yearly; instead of America's Black Friday, Singapore gets a red one. I skipped 2010 but bought a Belkin Auto Charger in 2009.
