Griffin Retractable USB Charge Cable With Lightning Connector

Bought the Griffin Retractable USB Charge Cable with Lightning Connector from BestBuy‘s 5th Ave store for US$24.99 and after a 8.875% tax, it cost US$27.21 (S$34.62).

I always wanted a good quality retractable lightning cable just for the fun and “less messiness” of it. This Griffin retractable lightning cable measures 10cm in length, 4cm in width, 1cm in thickness and weights 35g! The total length of the lightning cable when it is fully unwind is about 0.7m.

Griffin Coiled USB-to-Lightning Cable

Got the Griffin Coiled USB-to-Lightning Cable from Challenger for S$39 (S$31.20 after a 20% member’s discount) for use in the car. I always have the thought that coiled cables are meant to be used in cars, am I the only one who thinks like this?

When it is coiled, it is 13″ (~33cm) (measured by me) and when it is fully stretched, it is about 4ft (120cm) (according to the specification printed on the box).

Griffin PowerDock 5

I have been eying on the Griffin PowerDock 5 since it was announced back in January 2013. But unfortunately it wasn’t released till last month (July 2013).

The Griffin PowerDock 5 is retailing for US$99 (S$126) directly from Griffin’s website. I doubt it will come to Singapore anytime soon. Griffin offers free shipping within the US and they do ship to Singapore directly and for the PowerDock 5, the cheapest shipping is about US$12 (S$15.30) without tracking. But I did not choose that option, instead I shipped it to HopShopGo, which is a freight forwarder and paid US$20.08 (S$25.50) for DHL Express shipping to Singapore.

Griffin PowerJolt Micro

I got the Belkin Auto Charger For iPod And iPhone almost 3 years ago, but unfortunately it could not charge my iPad and hence I got to get another car charger for my iPad as I will be using it as a backup GPS device for my US trip next month.

The Griffin PowerJolt Micro is capable of charging iPad, iPhone and iPod. It takes in an input of 12v DC and output 5v DC at 2.1A. In order to charge the iPad properly, you need 2.1A whereas iPhone/iPod just need 500mAh.
