Not very impressive, I don’t see a need for a slate, being a tablet user myself. It will never be powerful enough to do descent work as a proper PC or for school, etc, yet too big to conveniently carry around as a portable device. For me, I will be putting my money for the next gen iPhone maybe coming out in June, that will be better.
Still trying to figure out who is the iPad going to appeal to. Kindle users? In my mind, the iPad is no replacement for a Netbook. It’s definitely a better iPod Touch if I don;t mind lugging a much bigger device around after digging deeper into my pockets. Still, 64GB of HDD? Then again, it might work as a in-car entertainment device. Just thinking out loud.
