3 years ago, I blogged about How To Get Your First Tweet If You Have More Than 3,200 Tweets? which has accumulated about 55k views. The instructions uses Internet Archive which may or may not be available for some users.
But I am glad that Twitter has been rolling out the ability to download your Twitter Archive to most users already. That option can be found in “Twitter.com -> Settings -> Your Twitter Archive”.
After clicking on the “Request your archive” button, you will get an email within minutes (mine took about 1 minute) with the link to download your Twitter Archive.
Clicking on the link will bring you to Twitter.com and click on “Download” to download your Twitter Archive.
I have about 24k tweets and the tweets.zip file is about 4.4MB. Inside the zip contains the tweets.csv file which contains all your tweets and an index.html file which loads your Twitter Archive in a nice webpage.
