Western Digital announced the My Passport Ultra back in May 2013. Many of you are familer with the popular My Passport. My Passport Ultra is basically a premium model of the My Passport.
It is available in 500GB, 1TB and 2TB in size, it comes preloaded with WD SmartWare Pro backup software with Dropbox integration, hardware encryption, and password protection to safeguard against unauthorized drive access and it comes with a carrying pouch.
My Passport Ultra portable hard drives are protected by a 3-year limited warranty and the 500GB model is selling for S$109 while the 1TB model is selling for S$139.
It is about S$20 more expensive than the normal My Passport but it comes with an additional carrying case and it is slightly lighter and slimmer.

Have to say I prefer the Seagate Slim Portable. Didn’t the Ultra start off as the Edge?
Never like Seagate :p Yeap, I think Edge gas been replace by Ultra
LOL! The only reason why I got the Seagate is because it’s really slimmer and nicer than the Edge. Even the Toshiba Slim is slimmer. Contemplated getting the Ultra yesterday but changed my mind after seeing the physical bloat
