Sony NEX-3N

Bought the Sony NEX-3N from Amazon when they have a lightning deal on the 13th January 2014 and hence it cost only US$289.99 (S$370)!

HopShopGo received the package on the 18th January 2014 with a chargeable weight of 3KG, but HopShopGo offers a repack option for a slight fee and hence it cuts down the chargeable weight to just 1KG! So shipping just cost me US$20.32 (S$26). I am a HopShopGo Prime Member, so your discount may varies!

Repack took three working days and hence it got shipped out from HopShopGo on the 23rd January 2014 and I received it on the 27th January 2014 via DHL.

In total, I paid just US$310.31 (S$396) for the Sony NEX-3N while Singapore is selling it for S$749! I just saved S$353.

Do note that if your purchase amount is more than S$400 (including shipping), it is subjected to 7% tax in Singapore. You can use the Singapore Customs Currency Conversion to check the exchange rates the customs are using.

The Sony NEX-3N will be replacing my 4 years old Canon PowerShot S95.

I will probably get the Sony E30mm F3.5 Macro Lens from Cathay Photo so that I can take product/gadgets shots with it. The retail price is S$399 but Cathay Photo is selling it for S$345 if you are paying by cash!
