Xiaomi ZMI QB820 20,000mAh Power Bank
I didn’t realize that the brand ZMI is one of Xiaomi’s ecosystem company.
ZMi supplies Xiaomi with power banks, batteries, and chargers.
I came across the ZMI QB820 20,000mAh Power Bank (ZMI 10) when my friend commented on one of our common friend’s post on the launch of the Razer Power Bank.
The Razer Power Bank is a 12,800mAh power bank that is able to charge laptops as it supports USB Power Delivery. It retails for US$150 (S$207).
On the other hand, the ZMi 10 is a 20,000mAh power bank that only retails for CN¥299 (S$61).
It measures 160mm x 81mm x21mm and weighs 405g.
The ZMI 10 has two output ports, one USB-A and one USB-C. The USB-A port outputs 5V/2A, 9V/2A or 12V/1.5A. The USB-C port supports USB Power Delivery and can deliver up to 40W. You can use it to charge your MacBook Pro 13″ (2016/2017), but it will be at a slower pace as the recommended power is 61W.
Two cables are provided in the packaging. A 30cm USB-A to MicroUSB/USB-C (2-in-one) cable and a 50cm USB-C to USB-C cable.
The time taken to charge the ZMI 10 fully depends on the power of your USB-C charger. A 45W charger will take about 4 hours, an 18W charger will take about 5.5 hours, and a 10W charger will take 9 hours.
I would like to thank my friend, Vanessa Tan, for helping me buy and bring back the ZMI 10 all the way from Beijing, China.
If you are interested in getting the ZMI 10 in Singapore, you can try this link on Qoo10. It seems authentic, but I am not responsible if it is not.
