Specifications wise, it is similar to HyperDrive 4K HDMI 3-in-1 USB-C Hub and Apple USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter. Just that the Humixx comes with two USB-A 3.0 ports instead of one.

Build quality wise, I have no complaints. It is better than Apple’s plastic USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter. Though I wish it comes in space grey like the HyperDrive’s 3-in-1 USB-C Hub.

Interesting, the USB-C end is gold-plated. This is the first time I am seeing a gold-plated USB-C.

I don’t think it will make a difference at all regarding speed and connectivity. It might be just there for aesthetic reasons and to make it feel more premium.

Overall, I think it is a cheaper alternative as compared to Apple or HyperDrive, and it comes with an additional USB-A 3.0 port. Because of that, the tradeoff is that the Humixx 4-in-1 USB-C Hub is slightly bigger.
