HyperDrive USB-C Hub For iPad Pro 2018
The HyperDrive USB-C Hub for iPad Pro 2018 is a USB 3.1 Gen 2 (10 Gb/s) USB-C hub that is designed for the iPad Pro 11″ and the iPad Pro 12.9″ (3rd Generation).
The enclosure is made up of CNC aluminum and is available in two colors to match your iPad, Silver and Space Grey.
It started out as a Kickstarter project where it raised a total of US$1,102,892 from 16,993 backers out of their initial goal of
US$100,000.
On 15th January 2019, it was successfully funded, and I receive the product on 18th February 2019.
I am one of the 4,200 early birds, and hence I paid US$49 (S$68) for it. Shipping to Singapore is an additional US$10 (S$14).
Despite being designed for the iPad Pro 11″ and iPad Pro 12.9″ (3rd Generation), you will still be able to use it with your USB-C MacBook, MacBook Air, and MacBook Pro.
You just have to remove the soft grip on the HyperDrive USB-C Hub. It is designed to be removable.
