There are three type of straps from Peak Design, Slide, Slide Lite, and Leash.

The main difference between them is the width of the strap. The biggest of the lot is Slide, which is for DSLR. Slide Lite is for smaller DSLR and mirrorless cameras while the smallest of the lot, Leash, is meant for smaller cameras.

All three straps are available in two colors, Black and Ash.

Slide retails for US$64.95 (S$88), Slide Lite retails for US$49.95 (S$68), and Leash retails for US$39.95 (S$55).

I bought the Leash because it has the smallest profile. But instead of using it for cameras, I am going to use it for my Peak Design Field Pouch, turning the pouch into a small sling bag.

Some specifications of the Leash:

  • Minimum length: 830 mm
  • Maximum length: 1,450 mm
  • Strap Width: 19 mm
  • Weight: 86 g
