Zhiyun Smooth-Q2 started out as a Kickstarter project, where it raised a total of HK$4,156,171 from 3,947 backers out of their initial goal of HK$784,700.
The project started on 27th August 2019 and was fully funded on 27th August 2019. I received the product on 23rd October 2019.
So far, I have backed 56 projects on Kickstarter, and this is the only project that I received the product on time.
I paid HK$933 (S$163) with an additional HK$78 (S$14) shipping to Singapore for the Smooth-Q2 (Premium) Super Early Bird reward tier.

For the unaware, Zhiyun is a Chinese company that specialized in gimbals for DSLR cameras, Mirrorless cameras, point and shoot cameras, and mobile phones.
Zhiyun Smooth-Q2 is an affordable, pro-performance, and pocket-sized gimbal for mobile phones.
Zhiyun Smooth-Q2’s body is made of aluminum alloy, and it measures 204 x 102 x 42 mm and weighs 450 g.
Inside it is a 4,500mAh battery, which will give you up to 16 hours of usage. There are two ports; the main USB-C port is used to charge the Zhiyun Smooth-Q2 while the Micro USB port is used to charge your mobile phone while being mounted on the gimbal.
Since this is a Kickstarter project, the mobile phone charging cable is provided. I am using an iPhone, so I chose the Micro USB to Lightning charging cable.
There is a standard tripod screw mount at the bottom of the Zhiyun Smooth-Q2, and you can use it to attach the provided mini tripod.
The adjustable range of the phone holder is between 55 mm and 85 mm, and Zhiyun Smooth-Q2 supports mobile phones weighing up to 260 g.
