Verbatim Tough Max cables utilize DuPont Kevlar Aramid fiber to encase the pure copper core, providing exceptional strength. This is further reinforced by a double-layered nylon braided outer sheath, ensuring durability and resilience.
The copper core, constructed with 21AWG (American Wire Gauge), optimizes performance, enabling quicker charging and ensuring more stable data transmission.
Typically, the most vulnerable point in a cable is the connection between the connector and the cable itself. However, with Verbatim Tough Max, this critical area has been strengthened and has successfully endured a bending lab test conducted by SGS, an internationally recognized and independent certification company, reaching 35,000 repetitions.

Verbatim Tough Max USB-C to Lightning Cable is available in two colors, black and gold. For Black, it is available in 30 cm and 120 cm. Gold is only available in 120 cm.
The Recommended Retail Price (RRP) is S$29 for 30 cm and S$32 for 1.2 m on Shopee and Lazada.
The USB-C to Lightning cable supports up to 60W (20V/3A) charging. But your iPhone will likely not consume more than 30W of power.
Only the USB-C connector is gold-plated.
Verbatim Tough Max USB-C to USB-C Cable
Verbatim Tough Max USB-C to USB-C Cable is only available in Grey and comes in three lengths, 30 cm, 120 cm, and 200 cm.
The RRP is S$20.90 for 30 cm, S$22.90 for 1.2 m, and S$24.90 for 2 m on Shopee and Lazada.
For the USB-C to USB-C cable, it supports up to 100W charging.
Both ends of the USB-C connector are gold-plated.

For the price, I find it value for money. I recommend it if you are looking for a rugged cable. I usually bring along rugged cables when traveling overseas.
