Nike + iPod Sport Kit With SwitchEasy Runaway

No idea why Li Xiang is so obsessed with sports right now, but she did influence me in some way. I have started jogging every Wednesday since 2 weeks ago and perhaps will extend to jogging twice per week and perhaps in the future 3 times a week. Even when jogging, the gadget freak in me also bought some gadgets for it.

Got my Nike + iPod Sport Kit (S$55) and SwitchEasy Runaway (S$16) from Ion’s EpiCenter. I am intending to use it with my newly bought 6th Generation 16GB iPod Nano (Graphite) (S$278) which will be delivered tomorrow from Apple Store (Singapore). I ordered online because it includes free laser engraving! This is my first time owning an iPod Nano.

OCBC Account Number Format

The Finance Admin of Li Xiang’s freelance job contacted her saying that here OCBC Account number is invalid. She said the account number suppose to have 9 digits (excluding first 3 digit branch code and dashes) whereas her’s only have 7. I checked mine and mine also have 7 digits only. Both of us were puzzled.

I did asked around in Facebook and Twitter and it seems all the people who replied to me have 9 digits on their OCBC Account Number. At first I thought we got our account very early (more than 10 years ago) and hence the lesser number of digits but apparently it is not.

Canon PowerShot S95

Bought the Canon PowerShot S95 from the Canon Service Center at Keppel Towers for S$531 (usual price S$669) through the Canon Privilege Purchase Program. This program entice users to purchase another Canon product by allowing trade-in/buy-back of their previously owned Canon products and offering them about 20.5% off the recommended retail price (RRP).

I traded-in my Canon IXUS 860IS which I got from Malaysia back in July 2008 for the new Canon PowerShot S95 which was just launched a few weeks back. The RRP of the Canon PowerShot S95 is S$669 and after the trade-in, I paid S$531. That is about 20.6% off.

Ultimate Ears SuperFi 5vi

My brother got me the Ultimate Ears SuperFi 5vi from Amazon and shipped to Singapore via Borderlinx as Amazon do not ship certain items directly to Singapore. It cost US$64.99 (S$86) after discount, original price is US$169.99 (S$225) and Singapore RRP is S$299. My brother bought 3 and shipping charges for all 3 Ultimate Ears SuperFi 5vi is US$25.34 (S$33.55).

I kinda like the wire of the UE SuperFi 5vi as it does not get entangle easily as compared to Klipsch Image S4i. There are more earbuds included in the package (including foam ones).

Speck PixelSkin HD

Received my Speck PixelSkin HD (Black) from the iPhone 4 Case Program 2 days ago. It was shipped on the 7th September 2010 and I received it on the 14th September 2010.

The PixelSkin HD is made up of Thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU) which makes it much harder than those cheap silicon cases. I like the finish of the case, it is in matt black and according to Wikipedia, it is resistance to oil, grease and abrasion and hence it is somewhat resistance to fingerprints!
