Got the Tanita Glass Digital Bathroom Scale HD-382 at TANGS for S$78. It has huge LCD display with blue backlight, something that helps when you are looking down from a distance.
I finally got my own weighing scale as previously I have to weigh myself in my parent’s room. I have started to become obsessed with my weight every since I started losing weight back in October 2010.
After about 8 months (October 2010 to June 2011) of exercising and dieting, I am down from 89kg to 67kg (before meal). If you take a look at my blog post in January 2011, I am 78kg back then.
Now I have cut down my exercising (running or swimming) to twice per week but I still continuing my dieting. Hopefully I can maintain my weight! It feels so good to be able to wear jeans from 10 years ago (yes 10 years ago), those jeans that I wear to Polytechnic!

Although your skinny wrists are visible in the reflection, I think we still need to see the before and after photos to be convinced.
Not skinny, but slender.
I have updated the post with before and after pictures =D
Hey Lester! Yeah I noticed you’ve been losing weight. The guy in the last photo looks like a personal trainer saying “Well Done!” Lol
Thanks WQ! The last guy is the CEO of TuneTalk, one of the prepaid telco in Malaysia =D
OMG that’s a huge difference! Your gf must be very happy. And yes, I totally agree with Weiquan’s comment lol!
lol Thanks Veron =D
Can I undergo your secret training too? Master Lester, let me be your disciple?
I have just bought the same scale today. I found that the reading will be 0.1kg higher if the floor is not completely level. Does it happen to your scale too?
If the floor is not level, it will not be accurate because the scale will be wobbling
陈先生,您好!看来你也是中国人。
I am the same person as the above “Guest”. The floor was not completely level, but I found that all four scale feets could touch the floor as long as I was on the scale, which was thus not wobbling. Why was the reading still affected?
I am from Singapore =)
I am not too sure about your case, but when I weight myself in my mom’s room weighing scale, this scale does produce higher weight.
新加坡华人懂中文吗?
What kind is your mom’s scale? Can you tell which one is more accurate, her scale or yours?
Yea, we understand Mandrin, but we kinda suck in it. I can’t be sure whose is more accurate since I don’t have a third scale to compare with
Before purchase, I did test the accuracy with measuring weights, which are not easily available but should be available in TANITA’s agencies.
Visit and scroll down to the Singapore flag, then you can find them.
I see, let me see if I can get those to test.
Do your mom’s and your scales have the problems shown on
