I was looking for an alternative headphones to replace my spolit Nokia Purity HD Stereo Headset by Monster after less than a year of usage.
I reviewed the Logitech UE 6000, it was good but a little over my budget. So I continue searching and I chanced upon the Bose AE2i over at some audio forums. I didn’t know that Bose had headphones for the mid-end market. I always thought Bose headphones are around their QC15 prices (S$500+).
So I went to Stereo at Plaza Singapura to give it a try and was pretty impressed by it. Even without active noise cancellation, the fit of the headphones cup already block off most noises. The adjustable band fits tightly on your head and coupled with the lightweight AE2i, it does not slide off your head easily when you tilt your head backwards.
The only thing I don’t like about the AE2i is the placement of the remote, it is even shorter than the Logitech UE 6000! In the bass department, it seems that the AE2i has weaker bass than the Logitech UE 6000.
Oh and it comes with 1 year international warranty!
