Timbuk2 Phoenix Cycling Backpack
Bought the Timbuk2 Phoenix Cycling Backpack together with the Timbuk2 Catapult Cycling Messenger Bag from Timbuk2 Singapore Store because I have a one-time media discount of 30%. The Timbuk2 Phoenix Cycling Backpack is retailing for S$169 and after the 30% discount, I paid S$118.30.
The Phoenix Cycling Backpack is just available in 1 size which is medium and there are 3 designs you can choose from, nylon carbon / ripstop carbon / nylon carbon, nylon gunmetal / revlon red / revlon red or nylon black.
I chose the nylon carbon / ripstop carbon / nylon carbon.
This backpack has a base capacity of 26L and is capable of expanding to 35L by just loosening the buckle at the bottom. It has a side access to the main compartment and a separate compartment for your laptop.
The laptop compartment fits up to 17″ laptop and you can access it from the side (known as Timbuk2’s Swing Around Access).
I bought this backpack for my upcoming trip to the US because I will be bringing my laptop along and I need the backpack to fit more stuff.
Previously, for most of my trips, I always brought along the Timbuk2 Q Backpack 2011, which can’t really fit much things inside.
