After a successful launch of the Flip British Plug on Kickstarter, Oneadaptr announced the Flip World product range in November 2017. They offered a 30% discount for those who pre-order those products with the coupon code, WorldIn18.
Flip World product range has four products under it:

- Flip World Add-On (US$9.99/S$14)

I backed the Flip Quad back in 2016 and I have been bringing it along in my bag wherever I go. The plug is compact and extremely convenient.
When I travel, I also bring it along together with a travel adapter. So the Flip World Add-On is a good idea. Now, I don’t have to unfold the Flip Quad to use it in other countries.
Since I already have the Flip Quad and this time around with the 30% discount, I decided to get the Flip Duo World.
Flip Duo World is essentially just Flip Duo with Flip World Add-On.
Flip Duo is a dual USB port charger that can give you a combined charging output of 3.4A. It comes with both US/AU Plug add-on and EU Plug add-on.
The Flip Duo World weighs 95 g. If you choose not to bring out the Flip World Add-On, Flip Duo itself weighs 57 g and is 18 mm in thickness.
I paid US$28 (S$37) for both the Flip Duo World and Flip Word Add-On. Shipping to Singapore is an additional US$12 ($14). In total, it costs US$40 (S$53).
I used this last week in Belgium. My gadgets are for the UK. This adapter didn’t fit the Belgian plug sockets very well and it would only work if the European two prong attachment was not properly flush with the main adapter body. This meant that the adapter hung slightly outside and downwards from the socket. Not a clean connection. I am disappointed. Maybe the hotel sockets were poorly fitted, I don’t know. Testing it in France on Monday, so we’ll see how that goes….
Update – I used it in France this week and it was useless! Don’t buy this product.
