Google Play Movies is now available in Singapore, alongside Indonesia and Malaysia. Standard-definition rentals range from S$3.98 to S$4.98, and high-definition from S$4.98 to S$5.98, though not every title is offered for rent, with purchase options also available.

Muppets: Most Wanted is the sequel to 2011's The Muppets. It opened in the US on 21st March 2014 and reaches Singapore on 24th April. Running 107 minutes, it features the voices of Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, and Tina Fey.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier is the third Phase Two film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, after Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World. It precedes Guardians of the Galaxy on 1st August 2014 and stars Chris Evans.
I caught Need for Speed before it officially opens in Singapore on 13th March 2014, distributed locally by Buena Vista International. An adaptation of Electronic Arts' racing game, it stars Aaron Paul, the two-time Emmy winner from Breaking Bad.
The day has finally come, Apple has launched the iTunes Store in Singapore, alongside Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, and several other countries. iTunes Match is available at S$31.98 a year. It's live on my Mac, though not yet on iPhone.
Four Christmases was better than I expected, though the storyline turns predictable from the start. It follows a couple visiting all four of their divorced parents' homes in one day. Not a spoiler, really, since it's all in the premise.
