Microsoft Office 2016 For Windows Now Available
Two months after Office 2016 for Mac, Microsoft Office 2016 for Windows is now available, both for Office 365 subscribers and as a one-time purchase. Office 365 Personal costs S$98 a year and Office 365 Home S$138 a year.

Windows 10 launches in Singapore on 29th July 2015, alongside 189 markets, as a free upgrade for Windows 7 and 8.1 or on new devices. If you don't qualify, the Microsoft Store sells Home for S$229 and Pro for S$399.
Microsoft Announces Windows 10
Announced on 30th September 2014, the next version of Microsoft's Windows is named Windows 10, not Windows 9. A Reddit rumour suggests it skipped 9 because third-party code checks whether the version starts with 'Windows 9', matching 95 or 98.
Windows 8.1 Launching On 17th October 2013 In Singapore
Windows 8.1 begins rolling out worldwide as a free update for Windows 8 users through the Windows Store at 7pm on 17th October 2013, Singapore time. It reaches retail and new devices from 18th October.

Microsoft launches Windows 8 today. Until 31st January 2013, Windows XP, Vista, and 7 users can download Windows 8 Pro for S$49.99. Those who bought a Windows 7 PC between 2nd June 2012 and 31st January 2013 also qualify.

Windows 7 officially launched in Singapore at midnight on 22nd October 2009, through Microsoft Singapore and Challenger Funan. The first person queued from 3.30pm, though numbers were only handed out at 7pm, and by 10.30pm over 140 people had gathered.
