WordPress 1.5 was released a few days back, a fairly major release compared with the jump from 1.0 to 1.2. This site still runs 1.2, and I'll upgrade once I find time to make all my many plugins 1.5-compatible.

New iPods
Apple is set to drop another iPod bomb on Wednesday. The regular iPod gives way to new 30GB and 60GB iPod photo models at $349 and $449, while the mini drops Gold and gains a 6GB version.

We went to Suntec City to celebrate our first Valentine's Day and bumped into Alvin and Jie Lin. Suntec was packed, with long queues everywhere, so we settled on Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao.

Happy Lunar New Year 2005
Wishing all Chinese a happy and prosperous Lunar New Year. I have to mount camp tomorrow and dismount only on the second day of the new year, which is a bit of a downer for the festivities.
Shall We Dance
It's been a while since I last blogged. I watched Shall We Dance yesterday, quite a good and at times touching film, not really romantic but worth a watch with your partner. I also caught Elektra, another so-so Marvel movie.
Dad’s Nokia 6230
I still can't pass my chin-up, so I have remedial training daily from 2pm to 4pm at the Gombak Recreation Centre gym. It's actually a decent two-hour break from work, except on mounting days.
The Phantom of Opera
On Friday I caught a 9:20pm screening of The Phantom of the Opera at GV Marina, my first musical movie. Perhaps that's why the singing instead of dialogue made it harder for me to follow what was going on.
iPod Shuffle
Apple's latest flash-based MP3 player is the iPod Shuffle, in two flavours: 512MB at S$178 and 1GB at S$268. It offers up to 12 hours of battery life and skip-free playback, but has no display, connecting over USB.
Its 2005
It's 2005, and I had a memorable countdown at the Mindef Main Gate. Li Xiang was meant to wake at 9am for a noon haircut at HarbourFront; I called to rouse her, but she dozed off again until 11:30am.
