Apple iPod Touch (8GB) for S$498 or Asus Eee (4G) for S$598?

I heard that the price of ipod touch may go down. ( may be a rumour though ) , but as the price of ipod shuffle went down by 30$ , there are chances for ipod touch too.

I had a similar prob – money to burn and not sure where to go!
Ruled out “locked unless you hack it” iphone in favor of HTC tilt (more power, not quite as cool, more versatile)
BUT! Then i ended up buying an HP laptop instead – even more versatility for the $$
My phones my phone, my ipods my ipod and my notebooks my work! 🙂 Simple – E.O.S 🙂
Alex -s-: I see, but I got a laptop already, so I think iPod Touch is the next best choice
