I will be using this case for my Kioxia Exceria 500GB NVMe M.2 SSD. In theory, I will get a read speed of 1,700 MB/s, and a write speed is 1,600 MB/s.
However, the max theoretical speed of USB 3.2 Gen 2 is 10Gbps (1,250 MB/s), so regardless of how fast your NVMe SSD is, it will be always be limited by the USB transfer speed.
An alternative is to use an NVMe M.2 Thunderbolt 3 SSD case, which is probably two to three times more expensive, but it can deliver up to 40Gbs (5,000 MB/s).
