Four and a half years after the introduction of FREE AmazonGlobal Saver Shipping, it seems this program is coming to an end.
Those items that qualified for FREE AmazonGlobal Saver Shipping that I bought during Black Friday 2017 are no longer qualified.
In case you are not aware, Amazon do provide free shipping to Singapore through its AmazonGlobal Saver program. Your order has to be above US$125 (S$156) and every item in your order has to qualify for AmazonGlobal Saver.
As long as one of your items doesn’t qualify for AmazonGlobal Saver, your whole order doesn’t qualify. Anything single item that is bigger than 18 x 11 x 8 inches (45cm x 28cm x 20cm) or 20 pounds (9kg) will not qualify for AmazonGlobal Saver. I also heard that if your single item costs more than US$50 it will not qualify for AmazonGlobal Saver as well.
Amazon now ships to Singapore for free if your orders are above US$125 through its new initiative called AmazonGlobal Saver Shipping.
About FREE AmazonGlobal Saver Shipping
With FREE AmazonGlobal Saver Shipping, you receive free shipping to India and Singapore if your order includes at least US$125 of qualifying merchandise, excluding the Import Fees Deposit, gift-wrap charges, duties, and taxes. Most products shipped using the AmazonGlobal Program that are sold by Amazon.com are eligible for AmazonGlobal Saver. Items 20 pounds (9kg) or more, certain oversize items, e-documents, software downloads, music downloads and gift cards don’t qualify.
Adobe Creative Suite 2 (CS2) which was released on 2nd April 2005 is now FREE, yes FREE as in $0, you can download it from the official Adobe CS2 Download Page or from the table below which I copied out.
Do note that for the Mac version, it will not work with the current generation of Macs as it is meant for Power PC based Mac instead of Intel based Mac. You need to be using Mac OS X 10.2.8 to 10.3.8 or Rosetta in order to get it to work.
I got an email from Andrey Kem asking me whether I need any custom icons for my plugin as she has been a WordPress user since 2003 and realized my plugins does use icons from famfamfam. Just in case you are wondering, she is intending to create the world’s biggest icon set containing 3,000 3,500 3,800 3,926 icons and offering it for free. Currently only 1,400 icons are available, the remaining are still in the works.
It is available in PNG of sizes 16×16, 32×32 and some in 48×48 and 96×96 in one big zip package!
