I caught X-Men 3: The Last Stand on Saturday with Li Xiang, Laily and Suqin; luckily I booked early. The roughly two-hour film is meant to close the trilogy. I found X1 disappointing but X2 better.

The Da Vinci Code
I caught Over The Hedge at GV Jurong Point on Friday and rather liked it, one of the best cartoon films I've seen, better than Open Season in my view, though Li Xiang disagrees.
Banning The Da Vinci Code
No offence, but I find these actions really silly. Da Vinci Code protests are widespread. For goodness' sake, it's just a work of fiction, a movie. Wake up, everyone; it really isn't worth the outrage.
Poseidon
I met Kenny and his girlfriend for dinner last Monday at Manhattan Fish Market. It's similar to Fish & Co but noticeably cheaper; the fish and chips are $9.90 here versus $13.90 at Fish & Co.
Site Moving To XHTML Transitional
I'm working on getting this site XHTML Transitional validated by the W3C, and so far so good: the blog main page and the comments page have both passed validation. More pages should follow soon as I clean up the markup.
Mission Impossible III
I caught Mission: Impossible III on Saturday at GV Grand and it wasn't bad, better than MI:2, though rather short. They never explained what the Rabbit's Foot is, nor how Ethan Hunt got into the building to retrieve it.
DotA Allstars v6.32b Released
DotA Allstars v6.32b has been released, and as usual I've mirrored the map for download. Right-click and save target as to grab it, and do check the changelog, as this fixes bugs from 6.32.
The Wild
We had dinner at the usual pasta stall outside Ngee Ann City. We then caught The Wild at Orchard Cineleisure; it had been a while, and the place has changed a lot since I last visited.
