There are two variants of the Ulti Flex Monitor Arms, the Ulti Flex Single Monitor Arm which retails for S$79.90 and the Ulti Flex Dual Monitor Arm which retails for S$119.90.

Ulti Flex Monitor Arms supports -40° to +40° tilt, 180° swivel, and 360° rotation. Each arm can support up to 9 kg; hence, it will fit most 17″ to 32″ computer monitors. For VESA mounting, it supports both 75 x 75mm and 100 x 100mm.

There are three ways you can get Ulti products, either directly from their online store, theultimatedesk.com or from their Shopee and Lazada stores.

Platforms such as Shopee and Lazada have their own platform and bank vouchers, so often, it is cheaper to get it from a shopping platform than directly.

Since I moved house, I wanted to change my monitor arms to look sleeker and more sturdy.

Having used both ErgoEdge Freedom Dual Monitor Arm and PRISM+ Vantage Triple Monitor VESA Monitor Arm, I am not satisfied with either of them due to both of them being wobbly and have limited adjustments for the monitors since they are all mounted on the same pole.

I have the Ulti Flex Single Monitor Arm and Ulti Flex Dual Monitor Arm, as I will use them for my gaming and work desk, respectively.

I used to have a gaming desk where I did not mount the monitor and a work desk where I mounted triple monitors. But sadly, before moving house, there was a power trip at my previous place, and one of the monitor’s motherboard got fried. So, I am left with a dual monitor setup for work.

I also swapped my desk, changing my EverDesk Max Standing Desk to a gaming desk, and hence, I got the Ulti Flex Single Monitor Arm to mount my BenQ EW3270U 32″ 4K Monitor.

I will be getting a new desk for my work soon, and there is when I will use the Ulti Flex Dual Monitor Arm to mount my dual Dell U2717D 27″ 2K Monitor.

It took me about 10 minutes to assemble the Ulti Flex Single Monitor Arm.

The first step is to attach the clamp to the base. By default, it comes attached with a desk clamp, but you can easily swap it out to a grommet mount.

Next, you can clamp the base to your table. The plastic clip attached to the base is for wire management. I have routed my cables underneath my desk using cable clips with 3M tapes, so I do not have enough length for it to go through this.

The following steps involved attaching both arms to the base.

Once the arms are attached, you need to tighten the screws.

Finally, you can secure the VESA plate to the back of the monitor, attach it to the arms, and do cable management. Cable management will probably take you the longest time.

I love the Quick Release VESA plate because it makes it effortless to mount and dismount from the monitor arm, which I did many times to adjust the base to the correct position on my table.

Overall, I am impressed with the build quality of the Ulti Flex Single Monitor Arm. Not only does it look nicer and more rounded, it is more sturdy. On top of that, the movement of the arms is very smooth and doesn’t wobble. It is the best monitor arm I have used so far. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a good monitor arm.
