Ordered a 21.5-inch 3.06GHz iMac for my dad, to replace his old computer. I'd meant to order two, the second for my mom's office, but she had doubts about Mac OS X and software compatibility.

The light-up starts tonight at 7:30pm outside INDOCHINE at Wisma Atria. For SingTel ZoukOut 2009, the world's longest chain of light-sticks, roughly 10,000 red ones, will stretch from SingTel's ComCentre at Exeter Road through Orchard's malls all the way along.

A Christmas All Decked Out
This year's Singapore Christmas light-up is themed A Christmas All Decked Out, giving Santa, reindeer and snowmen designer haute-couture makeovers. The first light-up began in 1984, the year I was born, making this the 26th year running along Orchard Road.
Singapore Food Expo 2009
The Singapore Food Expo 2009 runs at Singapore Expo Hall 5 from 29th May to 2nd June, 11am to 10pm daily. My mom has taken part since 2003; she has three booths, selling miscellaneous food products and Glico goods.

Phew, my nervous BlogOut! 2009 presentation is over, and the event was a huge success. Rescheduling moved my slot up to 11.45am. Once on stage, the nerves faded, with Elvin from Intel advising me to look at the audience.

BlogOut! 2009
BlogOut 2009 runs on 6th and 7th March, 10.30am to 5.30pm, at 8Q, Singapore Art Museum, 8 Queen Street. There are two tracks: the Corporate Track on both days, at S$90, and the Open Track on the 7th.

I was invited to Showcase Nokia 2009 at ZIRCA, Clarke Quay, where Nokia launched the E55, E75, N86 8MP, 6710 Navigator and 6720 Classic. The E75 is essentially an E51 clone with an added slide-out full QWERTY keypad.

It's the first day of 2009, and I've just returned from the countdown in Taoyuan, Taiwan. It was fantastic, at a crisp 10 to 12 degrees Celsius. 2009 will be a big year, as I graduate at year's end.
