Targus’s Cypress EcoSmart is Targus third collection of EcoSmart laptop bags since 2009. This latest collection was launched four months back in April 2020.
Gotten my Timbuk2 Custom Envelope Laptop Sleeve together with my Timbuk2 Custom Swig Laptop Backpack because I don’t want to waste the US$35 shipping on just one backpack.
There are three sizes for the Timbuk2 Custom Envelope Laptop Sleeve: Extra Small, Small and Medium. All three sizes cost the same at US$39 (S$49).
After getting my Microsoft Surface 2, I was looking for a sleeve to protect it and that is when Snugg contacted me to see if I am interested in reviewing any sleeves on their website. I am not really interested in iPad sleeves because I have already a few and hence I chose the Snugg Microsoft Surface 2 Sleeve!
The sleeve is available in seven different colors (Black, Distressed Brown, Cyan, Magenta, Purple and Red) and is retailing for US$29.99 (S$38). In case you are wondering, I chose the Distressed Brown color.
Upon touching it, you will feel that the sleeve is constructed using premium materials. There is a thick padding within the sleeve to protect your MacBook Air from knocks. The sleeve will fit your MacBook Air exactly, leaving no extra space behind. And hence you will not be able to fit in a MacBook Air with a hardshell casing.
It fits the iPhone 5 precisely to the point that it is a little too tight and hence removing the phone from the pouch is difficult. I hope after some season usage, it will be improve.
I was sent the Chef Sleeve (for iPad) for review all the way from the US. The Chef Sleeve is essentially a transparent plastic bag that you can place your iPad in when you are using it in the kitchen when cooking or baking.
This ensure that your iPad will not be dirtied by the grease on your finger or flour on the table when you need to use it in the kitchen (for checking recipes online or even watching YouTube for cooking/baking tutorial).
Brought Crumpler’s The Fug (Black) which is a very slim neoprene sleeve for my 13″ MacBook Air from Paragon‘s Crumpler store, it cost S$55, but if you are a CitiBank credit card holder, you enjoy a 10% discount. I ended up paying S$49.50 for it.
I was contemplating between this and the SwitchEasy’s Thins, but ended up I went for this instead because:
The case fits my iPhone 3GS perfectly. It is still a little tight, but I think once it is season, it will be alright. The EasyReach system allows you to take out your iPhone easier. Just pull the “tab” and your iPhone will popup a little.
The be.ez LArobe Netbook Cases is available in 5 colors, namely, Black & White, Blue, Green, Pink and Red for the 10.2″ models. It’s dimension 26.6cm x 19.2cm x 3cm and it weights 172 grams which is about the same weight as the Cool Bananas Netbook Envelope Case which I reviewed few days before.
The sleeve is made in a soft, shape-memory material using Low Resilience Polyurethane (LRPu) technology and the thickness of the form is 5mm and it also features and inner lip for maximum protection. This will absorb significant amount of knocks to your netbook. I believed (not tested) that it will also reduce the impact on your netbook if you drop it a low height.
