Food Court 2 @ SP
Ate at SP's Food Court 2 for first time, since Food Courts 5 and 6 were packed, so we picked further off. The McDonald's auntie wheels a trolley asking if anyone wants drinks, never seen before.

Funan with my parents to buy printer ink and 50 blank CD-Rs. Wanted Warcraft III strategy guide, but they had the orc cover, not the human one I wanted, so I skipped it. Watched Rush Hour.
Back from the Singapore Swimming Club, I stepped into the jackpot room for the first time since turning 18. Played table tennis with my brother; he's improved since last year, a school player for Gan Eng Seng.
Animating a simple walking box is harder than it looks: seven steps, and the lecturer couldn't finish them in one practical. That tells you how tough it is. Lost all three Warcraft III games with Reaper.
Made a new forum signature and avatar. I hate DEUI; the lecturer's boring and the practical teacher idiotic, pacing the lab telling us to close this and that. No proper lessons, we're not allowed to surf.
My CANI assignment 1 proposal got approved. I'm cleared to use Fatboy Slim's Ya Mama for the animation music. Assignment 2 is group work; we've done the treatment and will email the lecturer tomorrow for approval.
Home by 6pm, then Warcraft III with Phuse, 67th, Firezai and co until 9:30pm: three rounds, lost first, won next two. Finished my CANI assignment 1 proposal to hand in, set to Fatboy Slim's Ya Mama.
Added a new feature to the site: you can pick your colour scheme, found on the left under 'Your Info'. Changes apply on the next page load. I can't solve one problem though; it may be refresh-related.
Bought the CD rack I wanted from Ikea, 160cm by 111cm, almost as tall as me. Thanks to my uncle's MPV, I got it home; a normal car wouldn't fit it. At $198, a decent buy.
Watched Men In Black 2. Every slot sold out bar the midnight one we'd booked early. Theatre packed, 1 hour 20 minutes. Funny, but the storyline's weak; the original was better, and it felt too short.
Learnt to animate realistic bouncing balls and a pendulum in my computer animation practical. Three games of Warcraft III, all won, though I played without form. Confirmed for MIB:II tomorrow at Plaza Singapura, 4:50pm, Row J.
Today's my mom's actual birthday. Happy Birthday, Mom! Dinner at Marche in Suntec City: steaks, pizzas and more, with the bill around $82, very filling. Cake-cutting later, the cake bought yesterday from Swensen's at Plaza Singapura.
9am to 11am for WWWP practical. Dull start to the day, teaching basic webpage stuff, coding five pages in Notepad. Some used Dreamweaver, some Notepad. It's basic HTML; JavaScript and XML are what I'm waiting for.
Finally animating something semi-realistic after today's CANI practical, six weeks till the first assignment deadline. Played Warcraft III over BattleNet for the first time since buying the original box, with Reaper, Faze, Maxima, Phuse and others.
Learnt the most important part of computer animation, according to my lecturer: 'The Function Curve'. Fail to grasp it and you fail the module. Also finished coding my schooling reference page, simple stuff. Tomorrow's another day.
Second week of school: learnt to write, read and delete files and folders in Java. I could whip up a virus to wipe C:\Windows, evil laugh. Cured fishie's computer; she's back online. Added friend's party photos.
Ikea in the afternoon for lunch with my family, as my uncle was furniture-shopping for his new house. Spotted a CD rack holding 880 CDs, noted measurements, checked at home; it fits nicely, I'm getting it.
Had a seafood buffet lunch; it sucked, all I can say. Then to Orchard, where we split up: three friends and I watched Minority Report at Plaza Singapura, while the rest went to East Coast Park.
School ended at 1pm, then teppanyaki at Bugis Junction with my poly classmates. Funan, I bought a Microsoft SideWinder gamepad for $39.90 to play FIFA World Cup 2002. Out at 6:30pm for three friends' birthday presents.
Happy 4th of July to all Americans, their Independence Day. Just home from a 'breakful' school day, 4.5 hours of breaks. In OOPG we used to code user GUIs by hand; there's a faster drag-and-drop way.
School ended at 11:30am, home by 12.30, shattered after sleeping at 2am and waking at 8. Did body modelling in my first CANI practical; it looks good, if more cartoon than human. The lecturer approved anyway.
Just back from Funan with my copy of Warcraft 3. I'd expected few people, since students had school later, but there were already huge queues. Four shops were selling it, 1,000 copies each for today only.
