On 1st October 2012, Adobe announced Acrobat XI, the successor to Acrobat X, released almost two years earlier in November 2010. It makes creating and editing PDF forms much easier through a new bundled tool, Adobe FormCentral.

Google Nexus 7 Now Available In Singapore
The Google Nexus 7 is now available in Singapore, three months after its unveiling at Google I/O 2012. The 16GB Wi-Fi model retails for S$399 at electronics stores Challenger, Best Denki, and Harvey Norman. It has no 3G or LTE.

SingTel's price plans for the iPhone 5, launching on 21st September 2012 at 8am at Marina Bay Sands, Exhibition Hall D. Note that the iPhone 5 comes in three different LTE models, varying by region and supported bands.

Loop & Meet is a SingTel app for managing RSVPs to your events. Unlike a Facebook Event, each guest receives an SMS and can reply with #yes, #no, or #maybe. Not everyone checks Facebook often, but most will reply.

Apple Announces iPhone 5
Apple announced the iPhone 5 this morning, just under a year after the iPhone 4S. I was disappointed, as practically every leak proved 100% accurate, which spoiled the fun. On the bright side, Singapore is part of the first rollout.

Last week, Norton refreshed its product line-up for Windows 8 compatibility. A welcome change is that it has dropped the version number and year from product names. So they become simply Norton Internet Security, Norton AntiVirus, and Norton 360.

I bought the Innergie 10W Dual USB Auto Adapter from VivoCity's Challenger for S$29, or S$26.10 with member's price. It's a two-port car USB charger outputting 2.1A, enough for an iPad. Essentially a two-port Griffin PowerJolt Micro, it looks nicer.
