Apple’s second official retail store in Singapore and first airport store in the world, Apple Jewel Changi Airport, open its door today, 13th July 2019 at 10 am. The store opening hours are from 10 am to 10 pm daily.

If you are the first few in the queue, you will be given a commemorative Apple t-shirt that is made in the USA.

Peak Design Everyday Backpack was born out of a Kickstarter project more than two years ago. The Kickstarter project raised a total of US$6,565,782 from 26,359 backers for Peak Design.

There are two sizes of the Everyday Backpack, 20L, and 30L. The 20L retails for US$259.95 (S$353) while the 30L retails for US$289.95 (S$393).

The Peak Design Field Pouch is available in four colors, Black, Charcoal, Ash, and Tan. I bought the Charcoal because it is their flagship color. Black is too dull while Ash and Tan get dirty quickly.

I always wanted to find a short MFi certified USB-C to Lightning cable to be used together with a USB-C power bank.

I like short cables for power banks instead of the default 1 m cable as there is less wire dangling.

There are three type of straps from Peak Design, Slide, Slide Lite, and Leash.

The main difference between them is the width of the strap. The biggest of the lot is Slide, which is for DSLR. Slide Lite is for smaller DSLR and mirrorless cameras while the smallest of the lot, Leash, is meant for smaller cameras.
