Roborock Q Revo is the first robot vacuum cleaner from Roborock that features a spinning mop. Before Roborock S7, Roborock used a cloth to do the mopping without additional features. Starting from Roborock S7, all mopping functionality is based on VibraRise, which uses the power of sound sonic vibration.
Now, the Roborock Q Revo uses a spinning dual-mop system that spins up to 200 RPM.
Dreame has three different types of series for their cordless vacuum. V series, R series, and T series. I am confused as to what are the differentiating factors between the series. There are various models for different price ranges between the series, so I can’t consider one flagship over the other.
I guess Dreame took the best features of the V12 Pro (flagship of the V series) and T30 (flagship of the T series) and came out with the R20.
Roborock S8 is now available in Singapore. Roborock S8 is the successor to the popular Roborock S7, which I bought almost two years ago. Roborock S8 improves on the S7 by making cleaning easier and more efficient.
Roborock S8 retails for S$799.90 on Shopee or Lazada. But on double-digit sales day (4/4), on Tuesday, 4th April 2023, there will be a flash sale, and the price will drop to S$749.90. You will be able to stack various vouchers from the platform on top of it as well.
I was using the Hario V60 Drip Scale previously, and it is not designed for weighing espresso shots (duh). It is laggy and bulky underneath the group head. The precision is also lesser by 0.3g after using the Acaia Calibration Weight 100g to measure it.
Again, I decided to endgame it and went straight to the Acaia Lunar. The official retail price of the Acaia Lunar is US$250 (S$339), but on their website, it doesn’t ship directly to Singapore.
I am going on an espresso-learning journey, and the first thing I learned is always to get a good grinder. And it seems that the default setup is always a Niche Zero coffee grinder.
So I decided to get just that. It is not cheap. Niche Zero retails for £499 (S$808); shipping to Singapore is an additional £75 (S$122). On top of that, I need to pay 8% GST of S$64.41 and DHL’s advanced payment fee of S$20.
Dreame H12 Pro is a 3-in-1 wet and dry vacuum cleaner. It is 3-in-1 instead of 2-in-1 because it includes an auto-cleaning feature. It is the higher end model to the Dreame H12.
Dreame H12 Pro will be launching on 11th November 2022 for S$729. You can get it from Shopee or Lazada. Early bird pricing will start from 25th October 2022 till 31st October 2022. During this period, it will be discounted to S$649. In addition, you can get S$35 discount using the discount code DREALESTE, reducing the price to S$614. The discount code is valid only on Shopee till 14th November 2022.
Roborock G10 was launched in Singapore on the 7th July 2022 (7/7), and the recommended retail price (RRP) is S$1,699, though often you can get it way below the RRP during double-digit sales days like the upcoming 9th September 2022 (9/9).
Based on the previous 8/8 double-digit sales day, for the upcoming 9/9 double-digit sales day, the Roborock G10 should retail for about S$999.90 on both Shopee and Lazada. The usual price is around S$1,049.90.
Roborock Q7 Max is the first Roborock robot vacuum cleaner in the new Roborock Q series. The Roborock Q series is a mid-range robot vacuum cleaner series between the Roborock S series and the Roborock E series. If you have owned the Roborock S5 Max, you will be happy to know that the Roborock Q7 Max is the successor to the Roborock S5 Max.
Roborock Q7 Max retails for S$699 on Lazada. In some countries, the Roborock Q7 Max is also known as the Roborock T7 Max. So essentially Roborock Q7 max and Roborock T7 Max are the same.
