On the first day of the PHPConf.Asia 2015, I bought the PHP ElePHPant (Purple) Plush Toy from Jenny Wong, who is a Community Engineer at Human Made for S$50. The proceeds goes to PHP Women which is an inclusive & global network providing support within the PHP community for gender equality.
On the second day of the conference, I got the PHP ElePHPant (Blue) Plush Toy for free from Zend, who is one of the sponsors for the conference.
Netflix is coming to Singapore in early 2016 alongside to countries like South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Hopefully the selection of movies and TV series are good.

It started its subscription-based digital distribution service in 1999, and by 2009 it was offering a collection of 100,000 titles on DVD and had surpassed 10 million subscribers.
Ambi Climate is a small, sleek internet of things (IoT) device that makes your existing infrared remote-controlled air conditioner smart. It aims to make your aircon usage more efficient and hence lower your energy bill.
Ambi Climate uses predictive climate control by monitoring the temperature and environment both inside and outside maximizing energy use. In fact, thermal comfort isn’t about temperature alone. That is why Ambi Climate takes into a consideration sunlight, temperature, humidity and other elements to maintain a more comfortable, energy efficient interior environment. The Jabra Sport Coach is retailing in Singapore for S$248 and is available in three colors, Blue, Red and Yellow. It is sort of the younger sibling of the Jabra Sport Pulse (S$298) which I reviewed back in May 2015.
Coach vs Pulse
The Jabra Sport Coach is S$50 cheaper because it doesn’t come with the in-ear heart rate monitor of the Jabra Sport Pulse. Surprisingly, the dimensions and weight of both the Coach and Pulse are the same, measuring about 18mm x 21mm x 32mm (H x W x D) and weighing 16g. I guess the weight of the Pulse’s in-ear heart rate monitor is being replaced by the Coach’s TrackFit Motion Sensor. The TrackFit Motion Sensor measures your distance, pace, steps, cadence and calories burned more accurately for cross-training and running.
Google unveiled it’s biggest change to its logo for the first time in 16 years! The design is flatter and the font used is now Sans-Serif. I think the logo now looks younger, brighter, and more cheerful.
The blue “g” logo has also been replaced with a four-color “G” to match the new logo.
