ZUS Super Duty Lightning Cable
This is my second product from nonda, the ZUS Super Duty Lightning Cable. The first being the ZUS Smart Car Charger, which I am till using.
The ZUS Super Duty Lightning Cable is retailing for US$19.99 (S$29) and shipping to Singapore is a flat fee of US$10 (S$15).
The cable has only one length available which is 1.2m (4ft) and is available in two designs, a straight USB end or a right-angled USB end. I bought the right-angled USB end because it is something different.
ZUS Cable is protected with aramid fiber which is often used in aerospace and military applications. It protects against cord splintering and daily wear.
The cable is then covered with EMI Grounding, PVC and finally Nylon Braiding. The nylon braiding material helps to keep the cable tangle-free.
The cable is lab tested to bend 15,188 times and it is covered by a lifetime warranty. If your cable breaks from normal wear and tear, just email them a photo of it and they will send a replacement to you.
As mentioned earlier, the shipping cost is US$10 and they use SingPost for it. As you know SingPost, they tend to cock up.
When nonda shipped out the item to me, I have a tracking code and throughout the whole shipment process, it stays at “Information Received (This is not an acknowledgment of the physical receipt of the stated Registered Article)”. I was like what do you mean by “not an acknowledgment of the physical receipt”?
I contacted nonda about it and they told me that the status is misleading. What the status actually means is that the item is in transit or being transferred from their warehouse to their carrier.
It takes about 5 to 25 business days to reach Singapore. My item got shipped out on the 26th November 2016 and I received the item on 14th December 2016.
Before I received the item in the afternoon on 14th December 2016, I was checking the item status in the morning and on SingPost website, it states “Item status not found in the system”. I was like huh? My gut feeling tells me that the item will be delivered later which it did.
SingPost, you really need to get your act together.
