igloohome Smart PadLock 2 is the successor to the igloohome Smart PadLock which was launched three years ago. The changes are mostly on the hardware side.
One of the major differences is using a rechargeable lithium battery which is chargeable via the USB-C port. If the Padlock 2 battery is flat, you can charge it using a power bank instead of a 9V alkaline battery.
It seems that igloohome gave me what I requested for. Even the product name is spot on.
Two years ago, when I reviewed the Igloohome Smart Lock, I mentioned the following:
Saw one of my colleagues bought the Lock Pick Set With Transparent Practice Padlock from Lazada and it looks fun to play with. It is similar to solving puzzles.
So I decided to get the same one for myself as well. Bought it for S$12.73 with free delivery within Singapore.
